The purpose of AIM4NH is to provide a safe and positive experience with firearms and registered trapshooting for youth, elementary school through college age. AIM4NH encourages good sportsmanship and personal responsibility through competition while establishing the foundation to make trapshooting a lifelong avocation across the state. Shooters ages 9-21 may be involved in two ways. The first is a full-fledged member of the active team. The second is simply to register as an AIM member through the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA). The acronym, “AIM” represents Academics, Integrity and Marksmanship.
Shooters are expected to participate in our New Hampshire State Shoot each summer. Entry fees for the event are paid by the NH ATA and AIM4NH, while ammo is provided by Cheshire County Shooting Sports Educational Foundation. Members also receive team shirts and trapshooting vest to foster team spirit.
AIM4NH practices at CCSSEF during good weather. Our coaching staff is comprised of veteran sportsmen, ATA members, and shooters all of whom are very active and strongly committed to the sport of trap and all of the shotgun shooting sports.
