Joining CCSSEF
CCSSEF is a robust and growing organization that does not have membership capped or a waiting list to join.
All new members are REQUIRED to complete the Standard Operating Procedures Test (SOP) with at-least a 90% score. In addition, new members must complete the Foundation safety orientation. This is a one time task that will be recorded in your membership record and will not need to be repeated. The SOP test can be taken online at SOP Test or at the Clubhouse on Saturdays during membership hours (10am – 1pm). The SOP test is an open book test. The current SOP’s are available online at SOP’s.
How to Join or Renew
NOTICE: New Membership Requirements Effective October 2021: NEW MEMBERS will be required to provide with their application:
- A photo ID
- Any State Police Background check, a License To Carry, or a firearms purchase receipt within the last 30 days.
- Passing the SOP Test with a score of 90% or better.
- Documentation of some form of “safe firearms handling”

New and Renewal Memberships may now use credit cards for payment, although a 5% surcharge will be added to cover the bank fee.
New Member Safety Orientations/processing are held every Saturday at 10:00 am “sharp” or during General Manager hours on weekdays — typically Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am to 3 pm — by appointment by calling 603-352-8563. The orientation includes a foundation overview, safety video, range video, range closures/scheduling and a walk-through of the facility. Safety orientation typically lasts 1.0 hour. A membership card will be issued at the completion of the orientation program.
Walk-in renewal memberships will also be processed from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm every Saturday and weekdays during the General Manager hours — by appointment by calling 603-352-8563 — at the CCSSEF Clubhouse.

Law Enforcement Departments
The regular membership fee is required for Police Chiefs, all full time Police Officers and all part time Police Officers who use CCSSEF ranges for training and qualification. The regular membership fee also allows all police officers full membership privileges to the CCSSEF Foundation.

Any current CCSSEF member who refers two (2) people that result in two (2) new Regular ($150) memberships or any combination of (3) paying memberships, will receive his/her next annual CCSSEF membership . New members must specify on their application, at the time of application for membership, the foundation member who referred them.
Exception: No Officers, Directors, or members of the Membership Committee are eligible to participate.
