CHESHIRE COUNTY SHOOTING SPORTS EDUCATION FOUNDATION
ANNOUNCES THE GRAND OPENING OF ITS INDOOR SHOOTING RANGE
Cheshire County Shooting Sports Education Foundation (“CCSSEF”) at Ferry Brook Range, located at 19 Ferry Brook Road, Keene, New Hampshire announces the grand opening of its indoor shooting range, scheduled for Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The Mayor of the City of Keene, George S. Hansel, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CCSSEF, Cory Pace, and the CCSSEF Indoor Range Manager, Larry Parker Sr., will be on hand to officiate the ribbon cutting scheduled for 9:45 am. There will be live demonstrations and other opportunities to experience the CCSSEF complex and its many activities.
The CCSSEF Indoor Range (“CCSSEF IR”) has been in planning for more than five years and comes to fruition thanks to many generous donations and sponsors, totaling over $750,000. Our lane sponsors include Fiocchi of America Inc. aka Fiocchi Ammunition, Hornady Manufacturing Inc., Savage Arms, Inc., Savage Range Systems, Sturm Ruger and Company, Inc., and Warner Tools (of Swanzey, NH). Many volunteer man hours have helped to finalize the construction of this facility.
The CCSSEF IR will be open to the public and to its range members. The CCSSEF IR will be home to the Ferry Brook Junior Rifle Team, coached by our Indoor Range Manager, Larry Parker Sr. Our Junior Rifle Team members regularly participate in the Junior Olympics, have garnered scholarships to colleges and universities, and have been admitted to the Service Academies.
CCSSEF was organized for the purpose of providing education in safe, responsible shooting activities and to foster amateur sports competition on both the local and national level. CCSSEF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization.
