The purpose of AIM4NH is to provide a safe and positive experience with firearms and registered trapshooting for youth, elementary school through college age. AIM4NH encourages good sportsmanship and personal responsibility through competition while establishing the foundation to make trapshooting a lifelong avocation across the state. Shooters ages 9-21 may be involved in two ways. The first is a full-fledged member of the active team. The second is simply to register as an AIM member through the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA). The acronym, “AIM” represents Academics, Integrity and Marksmanship.
Active team members pay $150 for the calendar year. Shooters are expected to participate in our New Hampshire State Shoot each summer. Entry fees for the event are paid by the NH ATA and AIM4NH, while ammo is provided by Cheshire County Shooting Sports Educational Foundation. Members also receive team shirts and trapshooting vest to foster team spirit.
AIM4NH practices at CCSSEF during good weather. We also hold training events throughout the year. Coach Edie Allyn-Page is a registered NRA Shotgun instructor and active shooter.
AIM4NH hosted Barrels & Badges on September 18, 2020.
Sponsors include: New Hampshire Fish and Game, Bass Pro Shop, Texas Roadhouse, Operation Game Thief and The Stage Restaurant.
