The purpose of the CCSSEF shall be to educate safe, responsible shooting activities and to foster amateur sports competition on both the national and international level.  The organization has responsibility for all educational and training events and all activities that foster national and international amateur competition.  In order to accomplish this purpose, one of the first projects being considered for the Foundation is the establishment of a state-of-the-art, world-class indoor shooting range.
